Tree of Peace
Let us meet beneath the Tree of Peace
where warring nations first buried hatchets
and strangers learned of the ways to
bring it together to bend with weather
as Eastern White Pines reach skyward
toward sun and rain and alchemy down
to roots and their relations other nations
vast web unseen a dream waking in
time to see you or be you in a way
the strangers laid them down later
to rise again on the great water far off
this land until in time few remained
and the pain took hold the strangers
told, return now beneath this pine
see what you can find when blind.
An irregular heartbeat from d.o. to you.
Not like a daily kos, more like a sometime sloth. Fast relief from the symptoms of blogarrhea and predicated on the understanding that the world is not a stage for our actions, rather it is a living organism upon which we depend for our existence.
